In recent years, the willingness to wear a helmet on the ski slopes has increased considerably.

Now, several Austrian provinces, including Carinthia, have passed a law making ski helmets mandatory for children and adolescents of age 14 or younger. In Carinthia, the ski helmet requirement applies to children and adolescents beginning on 1 December 2009. The helmet requirement applies to both skiers and snowboarders.

The Top Ski Pass for Carinthia-East Tyrol 09/10
The Top Ski Pass for Carinthia-East Tyrol is your key to all the skiing areas in Carinthia and seven more in East Tyrol.

The price for the six-day lift pass (gold) is €189 for adults (€174 in the low season up to 19th of Dec.2009 and from 14th of March to 03rd of April and, €152 for youths and seniors (€141 in the low season), and € 96 for children (born in 1995-2003, € 88 in the low season).
